where do these people get my number from, thats what i want to know.sheesh.

This morning,as I entered the elevator to go up my apartment,a little boy of about 3 outside the elevator smiled at me. It was the most innocent, genuine, heartfelt, beautiful smile I have seen in a long time. Definitely made my day brighter.

Falling Slowly

American Idol is my guilty pleasure. My favourite song is definitely Falling Slowly which was sung by Kris Allen (I hope he wins!). It was a soundtrack for an Irish movie titled Once (2007), which as usual never made it to our shores. I heard the movie is good! (I always thought that the British & Irish tells the most beautiful stories in their movies).

From what I've read, this movie tells of the life/love story of a busker and an immigrant in Dublin. The song won Best Original Song in the 2008 Oscars. I'm soo getting the DVD! When you're being fed with big budget Hollywood produce daily, its easy to miss the good ones.

I hope you enjoy the original by Glen Hansard/Marketa Irglova and Kris Allen version of the song. I thought they were both sung beautifully.
